Amber Spadone-Beaumont

Consultant – Governance & Compliance

Amber Spadone‑Beaumont supports UK medical cannabis clinics with governance development, clinical pathway design, regulatory readiness and operational structure.

She works with new and established services to build clear, compliant operating models that support safe prescribing, consistent patient journeys and confident leadership.

Her work focuses on translating regulatory and governance requirements into practical, workable systems that fit real‑world clinic operations. Amber supports clinics through setup, CQC registration and ongoing compliance, helping services operate with clarity, structure and confidence.

Alongside her consultancy work, Amber serves as the Operations Director of the Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society, a separate professional body that supports clinicians working in the UK medical cannabis sector. This role sits independently of the consultancy.

Benjamin Beaumont

Consultant – Design, Digital & Communications

Benjamin leads the design-led and digital aspects of the consultancy’s work, supporting medical cannabis clinics with website builds, content structure, documentation design, and clear, compliant communication. His focus is on translating governance, pathways and regulatory requirements into accessible, well‑designed materials that support both patient understanding and operational clarity.

He works closely on website builds, website content and compliance review, documentation customisation and branding, and communication and messaging support, ensuring that public‑facing and internal materials are clear, consistent and aligned with clinic operations.

Alongside this, Benjamin contributes across wider consultancy projects, working collaboratively on governance, pathways and compliance to ensure that design and communication work accurately reflects how clinics function in practice.

Professor Mike Barnes

Advisor & Training Contributor

Professor Mike Barnes supports the consultancy in an advisory capacity and contributes to the development and delivery of selected training. His role is to support the consultancy team and its work, rather than to provide services directly to individual clinics.

Professor Barnes brings extensive experience in neurology, neurorehabilitation and medical cannabis, and has played a significant role in the development of clinical understanding and professional education within the UK medical cannabis sector. His contribution focuses on supporting high‑quality training content and strengthening clinical insight within the consultancy’s services.

Training is delivered as part of the consultancy’s structured programmes and remains coordinated and led by the consultancy. Professor Barnes is not involved in the operational management of the business and does not provide direct clinical, regulatory or advisory services to clinics.
